When I was but a wee lass, ’twas a game to try to sneak in a pinch before my siblings and I all got dressed in somethin’ green. (Spoken in my most-convincing Irish accent.) So I would have LOVED something more convenient to grab like these cute St. Patrick’s Day pinch-proof wrist bands!
I created an adorable set of St. Patrick’s Day pinch-proof wrist bands for my kids to wear to school on St. Patrick’s day and I want to share it with you!
You can grab the free printable sheet of 3 different wrist bands at the bottom of this post.

Create simple, meaningful traditions in your family to show love
I love having special traditions, fun activities, and colorful decorations for every single holiday. Even the lesser holidays like St. Patrick’s day! I believe it’s a wonderful way to show your kids how much they mean to you.
And my kids get so excited when I take even just a tiny bit of effort to make those days extra special. I bet your kids will too!
To be a “fun” mom you don’t have to spend lots of time or money
However, as a mom, I completely understand how time-consuming and expensive that can be. So I love it when I stumble on an idea or solution that cuts out those nagging thoughts of how much time and money it will cost me! And that’s why my St. Patrick’s Day pinch-proof wrist bands were born.
The sky is the limit
There are so many creative but simple traditions you can add to your family holiday celebrations. You can make holiday crafts, eat holiday-related foods, decorate for the holiday, or even wear fun holiday accessories, like my St. Patrick’s Day pinch-proof wrist bands.
And kids are easy to please
Sometimes I make the mistake of comparing my ideas and creativity to all the best that Pinterest has to offer. But when I really contemplate my goals as a mother, I realize the only people I should be focused on pleasing are within the walls of my own home.
Just adding a splash of edible green dye to our milk jug before pouring into my kids’ morning cereal creates a happy buzz in our home. And I always anticipate a good eye-roll from my older kids. But even they love to see the excited-looks on our youngest family member’s faces.
Creating traditions is EASY when you celebrate holidays
When I say the sky is the limit, I really do mean that! And kids are the easiest people on the planet to please. Kids don’t have any preconceived notions for events or holidays; things we certainly take for granted.
And the best part is…if you forget to put up those decorations, or make those holiday cookies, or plan that holiday party…you always get a second chance next year to make it right!
You can even ask your kids to help you remember! Your kids may not always remember to put their clothes in the hamper after they shower, or turn in their homework, but you can bet your last dollar that they’ll remind you to live up to your word when it comes to holiday plans!
